Services
Minor procedures
Small procedures done in our treatment room under local anaesthetic, so you do not need a hospital for something simple. Cuts that need stitches can usually be seen the same day.
What we help with
- Stitching cuts and caring for wounds
- Ingrown toenails
- Removal of moles, cysts and skin tags, with lab checks where needed
- Draining abscesses
- Removing splinters and other foreign bodies
- Ear syringing
How it works
- 1
Assessment
Your doctor checks whether it can be done in the rooms or needs a referral.
- 2
Quote first
You get the price before anything is done.
- 3
Procedure and aftercare
Done under local anaesthetic, with written aftercare and a check-up if needed.
Questions
I have a cut. Should I come in or go to an emergency unit?
Call us during opening hours and we will tell you whether to come in. Go straight to an emergency unit for deep wounds, heavy bleeding, or cuts to the face of a young child.
Will it hurt?
You will feel the local anaesthetic injection, then the area goes numb.
Does medical aid cover procedures?
Many plans do, from day-to-day benefits. We give you the procedure codes so you can check first.
