Medical aid
How claims work
For more on what your scheme has to cover, read our guide to prescribed minimum benefits.
- Do you claim from my medical aid?
- Yes. We claim directly from medical schemes. Bring your card and ID to your first visit.
- What if my scheme pays less than your fee?
- Some plans pay below our fees. When we know your plan, we tell you the difference before your visit, so there are no surprises on your statement.
- What are prescribed minimum benefits?
- Conditions every scheme must cover, including emergencies and 26 chronic conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure. We help you register a chronic condition so your scheme pays.
- Can I pay cash?
- Yes. Pay by card, cash or instant EFT on the day. We give you an itemised account you can claim back if your scheme refunds members.
